Helping your clergy to function between Rust Out and Burn Out.
This workshop will explore 40 Symptoms of burnout in three stages of development. After diagnosis of the causes of burnout has been explored, a system of prevention and healing will be shared.
This workshop will be helpful for those on the front lines, for those in parish leadership, and for those concerned about recognizing early signs of burnout in those who are on your team. In the past 17 years, clergy of many denominations have found this workshop helpful, first to identify the markers of burnout and then to put in place triggers to prevent burnout.
Presenter: The Right Reverend Trevor Walters is ANiC Suffragan Bishop for Western Canada. Prior to his consecration as a bishop, he served as rector of Saint Matthew’s Abbotsford, BC. Before beginning his 30+ year career in Anglican ministry, +Trevor was a high school teacher in England.
