Building a Ministry to Children and Families: Starting Where You Are

We all agree that children and families are an integral part of the church, but it's easy to get overwhelmed, frustrated or discouraged as we seek to build a Children and Family Ministry in our parish.

This workshop is designed for clergy and laity who are already involved in Children and Family Ministry AND those who desire to build a new ministry to families from the ground up.

We will address issues like:
How can our parish articulate a vision for Children and Family Ministry which invites the whole church family to participate?
How do we build a vibrant and sustainable ministry to existing children and families in our parish?
How do we love and serve children and families in our community if none of them attend our church?
What are practical ideas that every church can consider implementing to welcome and support families?
Where do we even begin if we want to start a new ministry to children and families?

Join us for a practical and interactive workshop – led by Kimberley Graham, Children's Ministry Resource Developer at St John’s Vancouver – which aims to equip your church to make loving children and families a priority in the coming year.
