Presiding Bishop Mouneer Anis
The Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa
Your Grace,
It was deep sadness that we learned of the brutal murders of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya at the hands of Islamic State-affiliated terrorists.
As you share in Christ’s suffering, may you and your people, like the Apostle Paul, come to more fully know Him and the power of His resurrection, becoming like Him in His death. (Philippians 3:10)
We grieve with you and pray for God’s richest blessing on you and your ministry. May He protect you and pour out His Spirit upon you and your flock – and all the “people of the cross” – in Egypt, North Africa and the Middle East.
Because He lives,
The Right Reverend Charles Masters
Diocese of the Anglican Network in Canada
Anglican Church of North America
