Changes for ANiC Vancouver-area churches resulting
from the court process

As a result of the June 14 Supreme Court decision, three of the four Vancouver area ANiC churches are in the process of relocating their ministries. The Anglican Network Church of the Good Shepherd purchased a new building several years ago, which was never in contention.
Saint Matthew’s Anglican Church (Abbotsford)
Saint Matthew’s congregation moved on 10 July 2011. The generous people of Grace Church have graciously opened their facilities to Saint Matthew’s. The parish now makes its home at:

St Matthias and St Luke’s Church (Vancouver)
St Matthias and St Luke’s moved on 14 August 2011 to its new place of worship and ministry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where the church leadership has welcomed the ANiC congregation with open arms. The parish is now located at:
320 East 15th Avenue, Vancouver (Bethlehem Lutheran Church)
St Matthias and St Luke’s new combined language worship time is now:

St John’s Vancouver
Sunday September 18 will mark the last service St John’s Vancouver will hold in its historic building on Nanton Avenue and Granville Street. On Sunday September 25 it will hold its first Sunday service in its temporary new home in the facilities of Oakridge Adventist Church. As of September 25, most ministries will be at:
5350 Baillie Street (W 37 Ave & Baille), Vancouver (Oakridge Adventist Church)
Sunday services at are: 8am, 10am and 6:30pm
Church offices will be located elsewhere. Contact information to come.
Anglican Network Church of the Good Shepherd
Good Shepherd continues to worship and minister at its building, 189 West 11th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1S8. Its worship facilities were not affected by the court decision.
