Telling our stories – Holy Trinity, Marlborough, MA

Ministry Growth PartnersKathleen Demers, Verbally presented to Synod, October 2016

Acquiring a former Roman Catholic church building (and associated buildings) has opened up a range of opportunities for Holy Trinity Anglican to serve its community in Marlborough, MA, such as regular free dinners for those in need.

Recently, thanks to established working relations, the city approached Holy Trinity to distribute warm winter clothing.  In addition to the donated coats from the City's coat drive, Holy Trinity supplies warm hats, gloves and scarves. These are then given to those needing warmth during the cold winter months.
The City also approached Holy Trinity to offer a free lunch program for kids during the summer school break. This past summer 1174 lunches were made and distributed to our neighborhood.

For the past year a few members of our parish have been working with a committee spearheading efforts to help make Marlborough Dementia friendly.  (See: www.come2bdementiafriendlymarlborough.org/)
