When ‘It’ All Hits The Fan!
Sometimes life just gets too complicated and ‘secrets’ too heavy! In this workshop, we will explore the reality of Life Issues within the parish family to help us recognize the importance of including Life Ministry in the DNA of our local parishes. Come and discover practical ways to meet real needs!
Anglicans for Life Canada seeks to rouse Anglicans to actively support a culture of life and oppose the culture of death that now grips our nation – manifested in unfettered killing of the unborn, as well as growing calls for euthanasia of the elderly and handicapped. We must shake off our apathy and indifference. God calls us to “do justice” and “love mercy” (Micah 6:8).
Anglicans for Life Canada was launched in May 2014 in Ottawa, when Bishop Charlie Masters and Bishop Don Harvey, together with a US delegation – led by Georgette Forney, president of Anglicans for Life, and the ACNA’s Bishop John Guernsey and Canon Jack Lumanog – joined Canadian Anglican clergy and laity to proclaim both in word and action their commitment, as the Church, to the sanctity of life. On the steps of our nation’s capital, Bishop Charlie led more than 20,000 participants in the annual March for Life in a prayer for our country and for a renewed recognition of the sanctity of life.
“Anglicans for Life is the global Anglican ministry that educates, equips, and engages the Anglican Church
in fulfilling Scripture’s mandate to protect the vulnerable, defend the fatherless, and plead for the widow.”
