The Reverend Marion Karasiuk
Deacon at Christ the King, Toronto ON
Marion, a Toronto native, is a retired engineer, married with two grown children. She trained as a lay preacher through the Artizo program based out of St. John's Vancouver Anglican Church, completing her training in 2009. Immediately following, she joined the ANiC Toronto Centre Project which became Christ The King Anglican Church Toronto, and she began theological studies at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Marion has been involved in ministry to international students in the downtown/University of Toronto area since September 2011. She was ordained as a deacon at Christ the King in September 2013, and in 2016 she facilitated the move of Christ the King downtown to the Crimson Teas location.
Marion continues to study part-time towards a Masters in Biblical Studies while serving as a deacon at Christ the King. She continues to be involved in various outreach ministries at U of T and ESL Bible Study for international students at A Quiet Place.
